So how does it work?

The Teach 10 programme runs for 8 weeks and the course includes:

  • One weekly live session: Monday evenings from 8.00-9.30pm via Zoom. These sessions are recorded for you to catch up in case you can’t attend a session. Take a look at the week-by-week course programme here.

  • Regular co-coaching: In between sessions you have the opportunity to be paired with another Teach 10 candidate so you can practice your meditations over the phone in your own time together. Alternatively you can choose to practice on a friend or family member instead.

  • 1-2-1 sessions: The course completes with a compulsory 1-2-1 online session with me where you practice your meditations. Half way through the course you can also book a mid-term session with me - ideal for trouble-shooting or extra zen practice.

I didn’t anticipate how much this would help me to develop my own mindfulness practice. What I learnt radiated out into the rest of my week - a very welcome side effect!
— Jenna - Blissful Mums Kent

What do I get as a 10 of zen teacher?

When you have completed the course and your final 1-2-1 session with me, you will be given accreditation as a 10 of zen mindfulness teacher. The course is fully accredited by The Complimentary Medical Association. You will get a certificate and a 10 of zen teacher logo to use on your own materials. The course is also worth 30 CPD hours (UKHCA). You will also be provided with the 15 meditation scripts, 25 mini mindfulness scripts, lesson plans and a 6 week programme plan so that you can go on to teach your own sessions. You will also be given access to ongoing support from me as well as wider teaching opportunities through the zen squad.

Am I suitable for the course?

Teach 10 is ideal for anyone who works specifically with mums, including yoga or pilates teachers, doulas, health visitors, health coaches, life coaches, personal trainers, midwives, breastfeeding consultants, therapists, baby massage practitioners, nutritionists, sleep coaches, psychologists, perinatal teachers and mental health providers.

I do also accept people who work with wider groups and are not mums themselves. I prefer that all candidates have some personal experience of meditation or mindfulness, however this is not a pre-requisite for taking part in the programme. I welcome all questions so please don’t hesitate to contact me.

How much does it cost?

The 8-week programme (including the scripts and lesson plans for your own 6-week course) is £450. The places are limited so to secure a place I ask that you either make the payment in full here or you can sign up to pay across three monthly instalments here, 6 monthly instalments here or 12 instalments here.

What is 10 of Zen?

Life is messy and marvellous. Learning to quit the chaos for ten minutes can make a massive difference. So that's why I’m here - to help you learn how to take 10 of Zen so you can stress less and love more.

Mindfulness doesn’t have to take a long time to be effective…that’s why I teach 2-3 minute mindfulness tools and 10 minute meditations…this is mindfulness that is accessible and comes without the overwhelm.

Stress less

Normally, mental and physical stress cause increased levels of stress hormones - cortisol and adrenaline. This produces many of the harmful effects of stress and can disrupt sleep, promote depression and anxiety, increase blood pressure and contribute to fatigue and cloudy thinking. In countless studies mindfulness-based training has shown to significantly reduce the body's stress response.

Love more

Being kind to yourself and others increases the hormone oxytocin ('the cuddle chemical' which makes us feel happy when we're close to loved ones). But what's even better is that oxytocin has a cardioprotective effect - it reduces blood pressure, acts as an antioxidant and also speeds up wound healing.  This is the scientific reason I focus on the 'love stuff' because it has such positive effects on the body, heart and mind.
